Heyy, I'm Abdelali Founder of Gymip.
This is the first launch of Gymip mobile app.
The aim of the app is to help people stay consistent to their workout, and build better health and fitness habits.
Which enables you to measure your progress over time, and improve in your sports (Example: improve your running time, or progressive overload in lifting)
Community is a core stone for Gymip. People provide help, competition and support for each other, Making the fitness journey more enjoyable and fruitful.
Deepening the link between sports and communities. Games & Challenges have been linked with sports for a very long time. in Gymip we try to leverage that to help achieve our fitness goals. and have better health overall
We're going to kick off Gymip Challenges with Ramadan Challenge.
The idea for Gymip was born on a WhatsApp Ramadan Challenge 2 years ago.
I see Ramadan as a great opportunity to build better habits in all our life areas.
You'll find a list of exercises in bellow in this page each exercise gives a number of points depending on difficulty.
Simply log your workout (add workout page in the app) and get points.
Then we have Leagues (Wood, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Legend), You get promoted/demoted from a League depending on your points.
You can use Leagues as a goal for yourself (Wood or bronze if you're just starting out, Silver or Gold if you already have some fitness, and Diamond or Legend if you want some challenge or just have something wrong with you)

You don't have to workout every day! You can split your workouts as you wish throughout the month.
Daily requirements add up: For example, if Silver league requires 200 points per day, by day 2 you'll need 400 total points, day 3 would be 600 points, and so on.
Similarly, your workout points accumulate: Every workout you do adds to your total points for the challenge.
For Diamond and Legend leagues, the lowest category (of the 5 exercise categories) needs to have at least 8% and 15% of total points respectively.
Lastly we have leaderboards: which you can use to compete with your friends and community. There are leaderboards for: followings, private groups, communities. and filtrable by both genders (don't forget to set your gender in your settings)
